The Role of Food in the Climate Crisis: Moving from Theory to Action

Over the course of two panels, you’ll hear the real stories of reducing impact from pioneers in the industry, such as CookUnity, Communal Brands and more!

Following the panels, join us for a happy hour and networking to get started or make progress on your own climate journey.

3:15-3:50pm: Reduce, Reuse, Rethink: How the Food Industry is Taking Climate Action
This discussion will spotlight companies who are taking responsibility for their climate footprints, and rethinking the old ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’ adage.

We’ll explore innovative ways that companies are reducing their supply chain emissions, deploying circularity and rescuing food to minimize their impact on the planet.

4-5pm: More Taste-y, Less Waste-y: Lessons Learned from the Milkman Model
Taking notes from the milkman, this session will explore what does, and just as importantly, what doesn’t work when building a climate program from the ground up. You’ll learn from firsthand experiences how to solve climate-related problems without creating new ones, pitfalls to avoid, and how to find the right partners to drive your climate programs further, faster.

5-7: Join us for drinks, light bites and networking
