By showcasing the diverse and impactful scientific initiatives led by young changemakers worldwide, the session will advocate for greater youth inclusion in institutional decision-making processes. The session will be convened by Aritro Chatterjee, a climate advocate and computational mathematician from Dubai, who aims to underscore the significance of youth-driven scientific research and innovation in addressing global social and environmental challenges.

Featuring young leaders like Saheb Gulati, Joshua Obayami, John Kessler, Peggy Chen, Pukaphol Thienpreecha, Sophia Fu, and Elisa See, this session will present a wide array of projects and research that directly contribute to various SDGs, including climate action, sustainable energy, urban sustainability, responsible consumption, quality education, gender equality, and more. By amplifying youth voices and integrating their scientific perspectives into policy and decision-making processes, the session aims to promote a more inclusive and effective approach to addressing the global challenges outlined in the SDGs.
