Join a distinguished panel of speakers from the UN, governments, private sector and front line health workers to explore how innovation and private sector commitment are helping to save the lives of mothers and newborns in humanitarian and fragile settings
Co-organized by UNFPA and Johnson & Johnson, this event will highlight outcomes of the Safe Birth Even Here campaign and its ability to decrease maternal mortality by investing in the capacity of midwives in Liberia, Haiti and Bangladesh. UNFPA's Deputy Director will provide opening remarks and invited speakers include representatives from governments and the private sector (i.e. GE Foundation and Maternity Foundation).
The panel discussion will be followed by reception and a photo gallery dedicated to the work of front line health workers.
