Ahead of the United Nations High-Level Meeting on Universal Health Coverage (UHC), join us for an intimate evening of storytelling focused on achieving UHC through community-based care. Following a networking reception, you’ll hear personal stories from the health workers who work every day to bring quality care to their communities.

Speakers will include:

  • Bupe Sinkala, a community health worker in Zambia;
  • Irma Nolasco, a community health worker in the United States;
  • Valerie Rzepka, a nurse in Canada;
  • Dr. Anthony Charles, a surgeon in the United States and Malawi; and
  • Moderator Dr. Madeleine Ballard, Co-founder and CEO of Community Health Impact Coalition (CHIC)
