Add to Calendar September 18, 2023 8:00 am September 18, 2023 9:30 am America/New_York Annual Prayer Service for Children and Young People

Each year, World Vision leads in convening an Annual Prayer Service for Children and Young People to open the UN General Assembly Week together with partners.

We started this special ecumenical service in 2019, recognizing the crucial and life-changing decisions leaders make each year. We know that strong, ethical leadership – and the right shifts in policy and funding – can transform the lives of the most vulnerable children. And that requires prayer. Our annual prayer service will occur on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 8:00 AM.

Partners co-convening the Prayer Service are The Lutheran World Federation, Anglican Communion, Act Alliance, Caritas International, World Council of Churches, The Episcopal Church, The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, and World Evangelical Alliance.

The service, led by Rev. Andrew Morley, will be held at Tillman Chapel of the United Nations Church Center.
