Transform Health is organising a side event on the sidelines of the 78th UN General Assembly on “Optimising digital health investment to deliver UHC”. Digital health is already an important and growing part of most health systems and offers countries a huge opportunity to accelerate progress towards Universal Health Coverage. Yet, in many countries, the full potential of digital technologies to strengthen health systems remains untapped, in part due to insufficient, fragmented, and poorly targeted investment. This side event will convene a high-level discussion on the Global Initiative on Digital Health and country resource portal, and how we can better optimise digital health investment to accelerate UHC progress.
The event will take place on Monday the 18th of September at 8:00-10:00am EST (registration and breakfast at 8:00-8:30am) at Impact Hub New York Metropolitan Area (417 5th Ave Unit 814, New York).
