Food Rescue Event
The attendees will meet our brand ambassador at Levain Bakery NoHo at 9am on Friday, 9/22 and he will explain how the food rescue process works. Attendees will help him pack the food donations into bags and help him transport the donations to one of our nonprofit partners. Once there, they will help our brand ambassador unpack and weigh the donations.
During the event, our brand ambassador will talk to the attendees about the wasted food and hunger crisis our society is facing, the food rescue space, and how our organization works to improve our communities. By participating in one of our food rescues, the attendees will have a direct impact in reducing wasted food and hunger in addition to learning about the space and our organization.
