Free Networking Happy Hour To Help Children Suffering – Famine in East Africa
All are welcome to enjoy a networking happy hour with free refreshments during UNGA Week in New York City!
The event will have free refreshments and feature speakers such as Dr. Mesfin Teklu Tessema, Senior Director, Head of Health Unit (IRC – the nonprofit founded by Dr. Albert Einstein) and Founder of Baal Dan Charities, Tanya Pinto, on how a small US-based charity is making a real difference to help feed children impacted by famine in Ethiopia and Somalia.
Baal Dan Charities USA provides grants for food aid for vulnerable children in developing countries feeding over 1,000 children a day (mostly orphans) including providing grants for emergency food rations for children impacted by famine in East Africa.
If you are a member of the nonprofit or NGO community, advertising, market research community, or just someone interested in how you can make a direct and meaningful difference to little ones in need, you are welcome to attend.
You must RSVP by September 15 to secure a spot and provide photo ID for security check-in. Spaces are limited!
If you can’t attend you can donate at http://www.baaldan.com/donate.html or Venmo @baaldan and follow Baal Dan on Facebook, Instagram, X and LinkedIn.
100% of all dollars donated goes directly to feed children in need because the charity’s volunteers and AMAZING sponsors cover administrative expenses.
