The SDG Acceleration Day will be held on Sunday, 17 September 2023 from 09:00 – 17:00 (precise times TBC). It will serve to profile actions, investments and support to accelerate implementation at the country level between now and 2030.

The SDG Acceleration Day will build on the twelve high-impact initiatives that the UN development system is mobilizing around in advance of the SDG Summit. The initiatives correspond with six major SDG transitions; five critical means of implementation and the transversal priority of gender equality and are elaborated upon in greater detail on the SDG Summit website .
