Planetizen Assembly 2023: Towards a Planetizen University
In reply to the Transforming Education Summit’s Youth Declaration, the UN Secretary-General defined 4 ways to interact with youth:
- Ignore
- Pretend to Listen
- Dialogue
- Co-Construct the Future
LearningPlanet Youth fellows at UNGA are organising an inter-generational panel to share their idea: a Planetizen University co-constructed by youth! This could bring together the wisdom and knowledge within UN SDG and values with the hands-on learning and academic excellence of a university to inspire action for healthy futures. We believe the first generation of planetizens have a role to play in envisioning and helping build this new model of education!
