This year – in-line with the wider UNGA theme of ‘Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity’ – Africa Soft Power & African Women on Board @ UNGA is titled: ‘Convergence: Women’s leadership and Africa’s youth in a brave new world of disruptions’.

Featuring an impressive lineup of speakers, we will delve into Africa’s most significant opportunities, with a specific focus on the vital roles played by women and young people in addressing contemporary challenges, such as climate equity, (in)security, artificial intelligence, and more. Whether you view these issues as threats or opportunities, our objective is to integrate African perspectives into the global discourse on the pressing concerns of our time.
